Training & Certification Unit (TCU)
Introduction
The Training & Certification Unit (TCU) of PECTAA serves as the central hub for teacher professional development, certification, and licensing across Punjab. The Unit is responsible for designing, implementing, and regulating structured, outcome-oriented training systems that strengthen teaching quality, instructional leadership, and assessment practices in alignment with provincial priorities and SDG-4: Quality Education.

Vision and Way Forward
The Training & Certification Unit envisions a phased, transparent, and incentive-driven teacher licensing system. Future initiatives include expansion of digital training platforms, research-driven training design, province-wide leadership development, and strengthened public-private partnerships.
