The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) hosted a successful conference with a distinguished delegation from the University of London, marking an important step toward global collaboration in teacher training and education reform.
The delegation included the Janie Kingsley, Director of Global Business Development, University of London, and Mr. Saad, the Advisor on South Asia, University of London, who engaged with policymakers and education leaders on future areas of cooperation.
The conference was graced by Honorable Minister for School Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat, and Parliamentary Secretary, Madam Nosheen Adnan, who emphasized the government’s commitment to modernizing teacher training and aligning Punjab’s education system with global standards.
The CEO of PECTAA also addressed the gathering, welcoming the University of London team and reaffirming PECTAA’s intent to pursue collaboration in teacher training and capacity building, subject to completion of all codal and regulatory formalities.
This engagement reflects Punjab’s growing focus on evidence-based reform, international best practices, and long-term capacity building of educators.
